The Central Jersey Arts Council (CJAC) and the Borough of Carteret just completed their fifth season of Pianos in the Park in 2020. Refurbished pianos are acquired and painted by community artists, which are then placed in public places throughout town for all to enjoy. The pianos provide residents access to a musical instrument which they can play, listen to, or simply appreciate the visual artwork painted on the pianos.
