Learn the basics from auditioning to the final performance in this week-long acting camp. Students will spend the week learning proper audition techniques for both camera and stage acting. Students will study monologues, scenes, and playwriting, all while rehearsing for an informal showcase for family and friends on the Carteret Performing Arts & Events Center main stage!

Camp Instructor:
Carrie Rubino, Theater Director/Teacher, has been working in professional theater for the past 20 years. Previously, Carrie was the Senior Manager of Education Programs at the Tony Award-winning regional theater, Paper Mill Playhouse. Students of Carrie have appeared in national tours, tv shows, regional theater, commercials, voice over, and Broadway shows such as The King and I, School of Rock, Beautiful: The Carole Kind Musical, Matilda, Les Miserables, and The Radio City Christmas Spectacular, amongst others.
